“The great film editor is not just a cutter, he’s a storyteller, right?”

– Ridley Scott

ABOUT ME

.

The editor truly is the great storyteller of our times and I’ve been telling mine for nearly two decades.

Starting as an assistant editor on the hit television series “Mantracker”, I worked my way up the ranks to become a full time editor and colourist on the show. This work culminated in a Canadian Screen Award nomination in the category of “Best Picture Editing in an Informational Program or Series”.

With the show completing it’s run I have transitioned to becomming a freelance editor, working on productions from documentary to reality to commercial to corporate.

I’ve worked on well known productions for CBC, Corus, Saloon Media, Breakthrough Entertainment, Bonterra Productions and Cineflix Productions, and for clients like LCBO, Canadian Tire and The Archdiocese of Toronto. My work documenting the history and restoration of St. Michael’s Cathedral garnered further recognition in the form of an honourable mention at the Heritage Toronto Awards.

I’ve also worked on several long form documentaries with Campside Productions. One of these films, Into the Arctic: Awakening, had the honour of premiering overseas at Monoco Ocean Week, at the behest of Albert II, Prince of Monoco.

I am well versed in the technical tools and creative storytelling capability to help you craft the story that you want to tell.

MY WORK

.

Take a trip to a west that’s still truly wild or journey back through history. From the soaring peaks of the rugged Canadian Arctic to historic locales in the heart of a bustling downtown core.  My work has helped tell countless stories from around the globe. Below are trailers and excerpts from some of those stories.
